COMM 115 - Introduction to Intercultural Communication

Course Description: Provides an overview of communication from an intercultural perspective. Students will learn how culture impacts social identities, communication behaviors, and meaning. Fulfills cultural literacy requirement within the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree.

Course Level: Lower Division Collegiate

Course Learning Outcomes:

CLO#1: Analyze opposing viewpoints on controversial subjects and participate in group discussions with ideas, suggestions, and perspectives.
CLO#2: Demonstrate interpersonal skills in small group activities.
