ECE 136 - Early Childhood Education: A Professional Overview 3 Credit(s)
Prerequisite(s): RD 90 and WR 90 or WR 91 (WR 91 substitutes for both RD 90 and WR 90 ) or designated placement.
Course Description: Examines the importance of promoting family involvement, developing an effective early childhood classroom program based on the needs and interests of the children, and continuing professional growth. This course includes the CDA subject areas of families, program management, and professionalism. Community observations in early childhood settings are required. Equivalent to ECE 136A , ECE 136B , ECE 136C .
