Course Description: Introduces theory and construction of various gasoline internal combustion engines and how to rebuild, service, inspect, and repair them.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Explain shop safety procedures during engine rebuilding operations, to be demonstrated in the lab.
- CLO#2: Use repair manuals and manufacture’s information to explain the major engine components. (ILO: Information Literacy)
- CLO#3: Define common industry standard engine terms and basic classifications.
