Course Description: Introduces applied psychology through role-playing as related to the clinical application in dental specialties. Guest speakers representing dental specialties may be scheduled.

Course Learning Outcomes:

CLO#1: Identify the various principles and armamentariums of the different dental specialties.
CLO#2: Demonstrate patient management skills through the use of psychological concepts and communication skills. (ILO: Critical Thinking)
CLO#3: Demonstrate legally delegable dental assisting skills specific to each dental specialty.
