Course Description: Introduces theory and construction of various gasoline internal combustion engines and how to rebuild, service, inspect, and repair them.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Demonstrate departmental policies and shop safety practices, including those related to engines.
- CLO#2: Explain the basic function of the major parts of an automotive engine in relation to the four-stroke cycle. (ILO: Information Literacy)
- CLO#3: Define common industry standard engine terms and basic classifications.
