Course Description: Survey of United States history from the early 1800s to the early 1900s: Jacksonian era, expansion, Industrial Revolution, slavery, Civil War, Reconstruction, Gilded Age, Populism, Imperialism, the Progressive Era, and the First World War. Fulfills cultural literacy requirement within the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree.
