ES 106 - Communications - Emergency Services 3 Credit(s)
Course Description: This course focuses on developing essential communication skills for professionals in Emergency Medical Services, Fire Science, and other public and professional fields. Students will learn industry-specific communication techniques, from active listening and crisis response to professional documentation and interdepartmental collaboration.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Demonstrate effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills tailored to high-stakes environments such as EMS, Fire Science, and professional workplaces. (ILO: Communication)
