Successful admittance into a Dental program.

Course Description: Hands-on activities using materials in a dental office including impression materials, model and die materials, fabrication of dental trays, preventive dental materials, esthetic and restorative dental materials, amalgam, dental cements, waxes, and temporary restorative materials. Course is dual-numbered as DA 103L .
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Demonstrate use of dental materials in a laboratory setting. (ILO: Critical Thinking)
- CLO #2: Identify the names, functions, and proper handling techniques of dental lab equipment.
- CLO #3: Assemble the proper armamentarium of a variety of dental materials used for different dental procedures.
- CLO #4: Implement proper infection control protocols in a dental laboratory setting.
