MFG 118 - Introduction to Prototyping 1 Credit(s)
Course Description: This course is designed to introduce students to the world of product creation. Students will get to work individually or as a team to create a product from idea to completion.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Demonstrate safe and proper operation of 3D printers and laser cutter engraver.
- CLO#2: Work collaboratively and respectfully as a team member to prototype and complete a product. (ILO: Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Global Consciousness)
- CLO#3: Justify the use of CAD in the design process.
- CLO#4: Build a functional prototype using all available resources.
