Registered Apprentice with Rogue Industrial Advanced Manufacturing JATC.
Course Description: As the third of a three-term series designed to continue the development of both an understanding of manufacturing concerns and limitations of industry as well as developing the hands-on skills needed for machining jobs in manufacturing, this course continues and expands basic manufacturing skills and machine tooling practices. This class re-emphasizes safety, bench work, lathe work, vertical mill operations, precision grinding, tool room operations, and production work through completion of a project.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Demonstrate an advanced working knowledge of manual machine usage and safe operation.
- CLO#2: Demonstrate improved mathematics, as derived points must be calculated for project completion.
