Course Description: Surveys the political process at the state and local level with an emphasis on Oregon law, constitution, and current local political issues.

Course Learning Outcomes:

CLO#1: Explain state/local political and policy making processes.
CLO#2: Describe legislative process/procedures at the state and local level.
CLO#3: Describe the influence that political participation, organized interest groups, and the media have on state and local government.
