Course Description: This course provides knowledge and hands-on instruction in new theory and massage techniques. Course is repeatable.

Course Learning Outcomes:

  • CLO#1: Discuss theory of the modality.
  • CLO#2: Identify indications and contraindications of using the modality.
  • CLO#3: Describe the benefits and effects of using the modality.
  • CLO#4: Safely apply the modality.
  • CLO#5: Effectively communicate with clients explaining the modality, its benefits, and outcomes. (ILO: Communication)
  • CLO#6: Provide post treatment information for client’s after treatment care.
