Course Description: Examines communication and problem-solving skills in engineering. Formerly offered as ENGR 102.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Identify various capabilities of Excel and MATLAB to solve applicable engineering problems.
- CLO#2: Apply intermediate and advanced spreadsheet tools, including sorting, formula construction, filtering, charting, conditional functions, charting, and pivot tables. (ILO: Quantitative Literacy and Reasoning)
- CLO#3: Exhibit development of Graphic User Interfaces (GUI) using MATLAB.
- CLO#4: Represent an engineering problem using a flowchart and translate a flowchart into a basic computer program.
