ECE 135C - Applied Child Development - C 1 Credit(s)
Course Description: Examines strength-based guidance techniques to teach and support the development of social and emotional skills in young children. This course includes the CDA subject area of Guidance.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Plan opportunities that help children develop positive social skills through daily routines and activities. (ILO: Critical Thinking)
- CLO#2: Identify strength-based guidance tools that promote children’s development of self-regulation skills.
