  Course Description: This course introduces math applications used in business including percentages, fractions, interest (compounding, present value, future value), and other common business applications including business statistics.
  Course Learning Outcomes:   
	- CLO#1: Solve practical business problems using fundamental mathematical operations such as percentages, ratios, and proportions.
 
	- CLO#2: Apply basic statistical methods to summarize data, make predictions, and evaluate trends relevant to business scenarios.
 
	- CLO#3: Correctly calculate interest, present and future values, and payments related to loans, investments, and annuities commonly encountered in business and personal finance. (ILO: Quantitative Literacy and Reasoning)
 
	- CLO#4: Utilize a financial calculator to perform financial calculations.
 
  Typical Required and Recommended Equipment and Materials: Calculator: Texas Instruments-BA II Plus or TI-83 or TI-84.
