APR 118D - Sheet Metal - Advanced Fittings 3 Credit(s)
Prerequisite(s): Registered Apprentice with the South Central Oregon Sheet Metal JATC.
Course Description: This course teaches apprentices how to draft, lay out, and fabricate dimensionally accurate advanced fittings using radical line, parallel line, and the triangulation method with drafting tools.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Draft round fittings using radical line and parallel line development (ILO: Critical Thinking)
- CLO#2: Lay out advanced sheet metal fittings using the triangulation method with drafting tools.
- CLO#3: Fabricate two fittings that are dimensionally accurate and advanced.

Length of Course: A required state minimum of (60) and a standard RCC delivery of (63) lecture/lab hours per term, not to exceed (72) hours per term.
