APR 118F - Architectural Sheet Metal 3 Credit(s)
Prerequisite(s): Registered Apprentice with the South Central Oregon Sheet Metal JATC.
Course Description: This capstone course, designed for the end of Year Two in the Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program, provides apprentices with the opportunity to assemble a flashing mock-up tailored to specific design characteristics and application requirements, while demonstrating proper safety practices.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Assemble a flashing mock-up that meets specified application requirements and individual project characteristics. (ILO: Communication)
- CLO#2: Demonstrate safe practices in the workshop, including inspecting tools, lifting materials safely, using personal protective equipment (PPE), stacking metal properly, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Length of Course: A required state minimum of (60) and a standard RCC delivery of (63) lecture/lab hours per term, not to exceed (72) hours per term.
