APR 218B - Sheet Metal - Basic Welding

Prerequisite(s):  

Registered Apprentice with the South Central Oregon Sheet Metal JATC.

Course Description: This course teaches apprentices welding techniques specific to MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, which are essential in sheet metal fabrications.  

Course Learning Outcomes:
 

  • CLO#1: Demonstrate welding techniques specific to MIG welding.
  • CLO#2: Demonstrate welding techniques specific to TIG welding.
  • CLO#3: Demonstrate welding techniques specific to ARC welding.
  • CLO#4: Demonstrate proper safety techniques in welding environments. (ILO: Critical Thinking)
