Course Description: Using current research, lecture, class discussion, group activities, videos, guest speakers, and supplemental exercises to explore, evaluate, and understand common situations and problems in human relations for the organizational environment. Among the issues covered are communications, group dynamics, self-awareness (communication styles, self-esteem, attitudes, emotions, and ethics), workplace diversity and inclusion, motivation, trust-building, self-disclosure, teamwork, and conflict management.

- CLO#1: Define human relations.
- CLO#2: Explain the importance of developing good human relations skills.
- CLO#3: Identify how self-awareness, attitudes, motivations, communication styles, and values contribute to career success.
