DH 203 - Dental Hygiene Theory VI 2 Credit(s)
Prerequisite(s):
Successful completion of the first five terms of the Dental Hygiene program.
Course Description: Introduces professional development, practice management, and job searching skills within the dental hygiene profession. Students will create an oral health care program and provide care in a community health project.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1 Identify and evaluate techniques used for successful practice management.
- CLO#2 Discuss and design a time management and scheduling protocol.
- CLO#3 Appraise and compare economic considerations for a profitable practice. (ILO: Critical Thinking)
