Course Description: Includes a hands-on approach to develop competency in basic and advanced concepts and commands of effective presentations. Students will also learn techniques for developing and creating presentations that engage the audience, illustrate ideas, and use media effectively. Software used to develop presentations in the course is Microsoft PowerPoint. The course does not fulfill degree or certificate requirements for computer proficiency.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- CLO#1: Identify elements of the PowerPoint user interface and navigate within the interface.
- CLO#2: Use PowerPoint tools to create slides using text, graphics, charts, sound, and video to create consistent design elements in a presentation. (ILO: Critical Thinking)
